Our Story
A plan to pursue the American dream in Northern Virginia that started in Ghana, took our founder Henry through the U.S. Military, and continues to write itself in Woodbridge, Virginia over 14+ years later.

The year was only 2010 and we didn't have uniforms at the time - what a long way we've come!

When Henry finished his career in the U.S. Marine Corps working under MOS 3531 as a motor vehicle operator, he picked up a job working at Sears carpet cleaning in Northern Virginia.

Throughout his time working at Sears, Henry not only fell in love with carpet cleaning, but the ability he had to make a difference in the day-to-day lives of his clients. He noticed that many regular clients of Sears heavily depended on carpet cleaning services to not only save time and improve the aesthetic of their homes, but to mitigate the health risks that come with having dirty carpets, such as allergies, respiratory issues, and illness.

Henry spent years at Sears where he would regularly deal with a variety of different stains (i.e., food, foot traffic, detergent, miscellaneous liquids, mold, dark spots that occur near the edges of rooms) and learned to solve anything he would encounter.

After forming some very close client relationships throughout the Woodbridge, Gainesville, and Manassas area, Henry made the tough decision to pursue his dream and discontinue his time at Sears in 2010 over 14+ years ago. Upon his departure, Henry started Neighborhood Carpet cleaners, which has been nothing short of an amazing experience.
